Actual title, much longer.

I've made the same mistake about seven times over, two were real horror shows.

They certainly won't be the last.

Two Were Real Horror Shows by ~Fadingseven is a sharp woodcut print that makes good use of the wood's grain, plus fine linework, rhythmic areas and dry wit. ( Featured by `stigmatattoo )

how did you print the wood grain?

You can wet the block with water to soften the wood, then take a wire brush and scrub the grain texture, it heightens the amount of grain that shows up. If you print with a stiffer ink and make sure not to over-ink the plate, you can get pretty good woodgrain textures.

Kind of has this lo-fi, unpolished feel to it that really makes it lovely. I'm faving this.
